=== Beginning === The Great Bombing War began when the Byzantine Empire Army launched an unprovoked attack on the Turkish SSR and the Soviet Navy. A state of emergency was immediately declared and Soviet bombers launched an attack on Istanbul and Athens. A counterattack was launched with 3 battleships and ground troops.
