World Tension

The current world tension is rated to be D+ (as of 23st Sep. '24) with editors comment: "One little war here, nothing more".

The scale

World tension describes how volatile the current world order and global politics are. Wars, conflicts and changes in global order increase world tension while peace deals and peaceful pacts decrease it.

The scale spans alphabetical letters with A being the highest and F the lowest. The highest rating of world tension is assigned the letter X to symbolise total world war. This rating is only theoretical and was therefore left out of the main scale. If the world tension ever reaches this level... may god have mercy...

The rating may also include a deviator to denote smaller changes. A+ for example is just slightly higher than A and B- is slightly lower than B.

Global Politics

Globally acting parties

Nations with at least a decent influence over global politics are considered a GAP (Globally Acting Party)

These nations are considered GAPs: (unsorted)

Recent and ongoing acts

For completeness, this section also includes documented acts of non-GAP parties.
